Day 1
ARRIVE IN MANAUS
Arrive in Manaus and transfer to Anavilhanas Lodge – a trip of about approx. 3 hours, with the final 15 minutes of the trip crossing by boat! Here you are in what is known as the Anavilhanas Archipelago. Here you’ll enjoy boat tours of the the Amazonian Creeks known as “Igarapés” and the flooded forests, referred to as the “Igapós.” In the evening, return to the lodge for your first dinner in the jungle! Tonight you’ll venture our for a canoe ride to spot alligators, frogs and birds. Stay alert to the mysterious sounds of the forest and breath in the fresh, balmy air while under the starry sky.

Day 2
EXPLORE ANAVILHANAS NATIONAL PARK
Today you will explore and learn about the jungle with a guided forest hike. Take a relaxed lunch back at the lodge and in the afternoon, pay a visit to see the Amazonian Dolphins and some of the local handicraft studios.

Day 3
EXPLORE ANAVILHANAS NATIONAL PARK
Head out at sunrise to catch the birdsong and observe some stunning, colorfully adorned birds as they go about their morning. Return to camp for breakfast and then go fishing for piranhas. Come back to the lodge for lunch and relax. In the afternoon you will visit the local Tiririca community and learn about their traditional houses and lifestyle.

Day 4
DEPART ANAVILHANAS FOR MANAUS
Today you bid the unique region of Anavilhanas National Park farewell. Ride in the traditional canoes through the “Igarapés” and the “Igapós” in the Rio Negro. Have lunch at the lodge and then head to the airport for your departure flight to Manaus. Have a restful sleep at Hotel Go In before you head back to a different part of the Amazon!

Day 5
AMAZON TREE CLIMBING, SWIM WITH PINK DOLPHINS, AND VISIT LOCAL MANIOC FLOUR HOUSE
It’s an exciting day! You’ll depart Manaus via speedboat and head to Acajatuba Lake. Here you can swim with pink river dolphins! After a relaxing swim with these remarkable creatures, you’ll scale huge trees that tower over the rainforest’s floor! Climb into the beautiful Macucu tree, one of the highest species from flooded forest. Enjoy a local lunch and visit a manioc flour house. After this lively 8-10 hour program you will need to relax and rest – return back to Manaus.

Day 6
DEPART MANAUS FOR ITACARÉ VIA ILHÉUS
Today is a big travel day! You transfer from Manaus to Itacaré to embark on the wonderful coastal component of your love journey. The full trip is about 7 hours, and your final destination will be the beautiful and relaxing Txai Resort.

EXPLORE BEACHES AND WATERFALLS OF ITACARÉ
Today you will take a walking tour to explore various beaches, including Hawaizinho Beach, Engenhoca Beach, and Itacarezinho beaches. You will also get to visit the Tijuipe waterfall just a short drive away.

EXPLORE BEACHES OF WATERFALLS ITACARÉ
Head off to explore more stunning beaches. On a walking tour you will visit the Arruda and Jeribucaçu and take a relaxed picnic lunch. Then, set out for an excursion into the Atlantic forests, passing through the mangroves, arriving at the refreshing Usina Waterfall. Walk up this impressive waterfall. Your guide will meet you here with your vehicle and bring you back to the resort for overnight.

DEPART ITACARÉ
Transfer back to Ilhéus Airport and fly to São Paulo. Arrive in São Paulo and head home with the memories you created for a lifetime!
