9 Days Morocco Tours From Marrakech

You will be welcomed by your driver in the airport of Menara in Marrakesh and take you to your hotel in Marrakesh. 

Overnight in the hotel.

Departure of the tour takes place in front of your hotel or Riad. Through Tizi- N-Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains. You will enjoy a snaky road, beautiful landscapes with different colors and Berber villages along the way.

The first pause will be in AIT BARKA VILLAGE. It will be around 10:00AM to take beautiful pictures; relax of the car and have breakfast if you wish it. It’s a point to start the highest atlas mountains of Morocco TIZI N TICHKA. The second pause will take place in the top of TICHKA.

Arriving to AIT BEN HADOU! It is classified by UNESCO as a first world heritage. Here you will be guided by local guide to explain the history of this amazing heritage AIT BEN HADOU. Then you will have free time for lunch and it will be around one hour.

You will continue via Ouarzazate, the rose valley, Skoura palm grove to Dades valley and gorges. The first night will be in a Moroccan typical hotel, located in the heart of Dades gorges at the south of Morocco. Dinner, Breakfast and overnight in Dades gorges are included.

Departure from your hotel in Dades gorges after a typical Moroccan breakfast. Taking the road of 1000 Kasbahs driving around the colorful Berber villages of Dades valley. 45 km further, you will get to Tineghir. It is famous by its beautiful palm groves and Jewish quarter.

While arriving Todra gorges (Todgha) its free time to go on trek along the canyons about 300 m high. It’s a preferred place by mountain climbers.

Afterwards you will leave to Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga Sahara desert. Then it’s free time for lunch on the way before you arrive to Erfoud. Once you arrive to the dunes of Erg Chebbi, you will take a camel ride at the sunset to get to the camp. 

Your luggage will be transported by car to the camp. You also have the option of going to the camp by car instead of riding a camel, if you prefer.

Spend the night in a Berber Camp in Merzouga Sahara dunes under nomadic tents or outside under shooting stars. Play drums with the camel drivers. Dinner and overnight in Merzouga Sahara desert camp.

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the view of the sunrise over the dunes, After a hearty moroccan Breakfast and shower, we will leave for Ziz valley by 4x4, here we will stop for you to admire a wonderful panoramic view of Ziz palm oasis and Ziz gorges. Lunch will be in Midelt, then we will continue to Azrou by crossing the Middle Atlas mountains with its cedar forest, where we will find wild monkeys waiting for you to feed them. Before arriving to Fes, we will stop for a while to have rest in Ifrane, a European-style town that is called also Switzerland of Morocco. At the evening we will arrive to Fes, Overnight at the Riad. 

After having breakfast in your Riad, you will start visiting the spiritual capital of Morocco, Fes. Through walking on its crowded souks, epic alleyways, and historical monuments, you will be amazed by the uniqueness of the place. Following this, we will walk to explore the great Royal Palace gate between the new Fes and the old one.

Afterward, we’ll visit other cultural and historical places such as the famous Al Qaraouine University, the Tanneries, and the Attarine museum.

After lunch, you’ll head to explore Fes El Bali, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. In this exotic place you will enjoy its alleyways, and other monuments such as Babb Boujloud (the medina's main gate). By the afternoon, we’ll visit the new city for a drink. Overnight in a Hotel/Riad.

Departing Fes this morning we visit the fascinating UNESCO listed Roman ruins of Volubilis, which date back to AD40 and we will continue the road to Chefchaouen through the Rif Mountains to enjoy the views of the Magic Mountains till we get Chefchaouen one of the stunning villages in the feet of Rif Mountains. As well as, to the medina has a Spanish style.

You will have time all the evening to visit the blue city. It is a city located in the Rif Mountains, north-west of Morocco. It is famous for the remarkable buildings of different tones of faded blue of its old town. Leather and weaving workshops line its steep cobbled alleys.

In the shaded central square of Outa el Hammam is the Kasbah with red walls, fortress and keep of the fifteenth century with ethnographic and artistic exhibitions. The octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque rises not far from there, overnight in Chefchaouen.

Wake up refreshed and ready to embark on further explorations. After a delicious breakfast, bid farewell to Chefchaouen and continue your journey towards Tétouan. Known for its rich cultural heritage and Andalusian influences, Tétouan offers a captivating blend of Moroccan and Spanish flavors.

Explore the bustling Medina of Tétouan, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Wander through narrow streets lined with whitewashed buildings adorned with colorful tiles and intricate balconies. Immerse yourself in the captivating history, architecture, and traditions that make Tétouan a true gem of Morocco, In the afternoon, depart from Tétouan and set off towards Tangier, the vibrant coastal city that acts as a gateway between Africa and Europe. Upon arrival in Tangier, soak up the bustling atmosphere as you explore its dynamic medina. overnight in Tanger.

After breakfast, You’ll visit Cap Spartel, the impressive Palace of the sultan, the Necropolis, the caves of Hercules, After we will drive you to Rabat capital of Morocco. We will start with the Bab Challah, Mausoleum of Mohammed V and one of the main gates of the royal palace and the Oudaya Kasbah Then we visit Hassan 2 tower, where 4 facades are decorated different from each other, three in shades of pink and one in the gray because of the sea breeze, we reach Casablanca in the late afternoon, Overnight in the hotel.

On this last day of our tour After Breakfast at the hotel ,We will take a tour of the city Casablanca and we’ll visit Hassan 2 the second largest mosque in the world especially its location  above the ocean this is one of the great achievement of morocco architecture. We will take a tour of the city and then we will head to Marrakech. 

After 3 hours driving you will get to Marrakech where you will have free time to visit the authentic city of Marrakech, For see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace.

The last day of our 09 days tour from Marrakech depends on your flight details. As mentioned, you can end this tour whether in Marrakech or Casablanca. If you fly in the evening, we would spend more time discovering other sites in Marrakech.
