Introduction
This delightful 9 day tour focuses on the gems of the south & west of Ireland. You will visit the fishing ports of Dingle, travel the lush Tipperary valleys, tour the National Stud horse stud of Ireland, explore the capital city Dublin, then finish with an night of fun and lively Irish entertainment.

Day 1 Joining Dublin or Shannon
Arrive Dublin, transfer to Limerick - please inquire about transfer time. If not join us in the late afternoon / early evening and meet your travelling companions. An optional Medieval Banquet at Knappogue Castle is on offer tonight.

Day 2 Limerick & Adare
After breakfast we head for the Kingdom of Kerry. A tour of Limerick City is undertaken before travelling to Adare and then arriving in the beautiful town of Killarney. Upon arrival we will head on a jaunting car ride through Killarney National Park, a quintessential Irish experience that reveals breathtaking views of the lakes and surrounding mountains.

Day 3 Dingle Peninsula
We will visit the fishing port of Dingle, view a traditional working sheep farm, and view the Blasket Islands as we round Slea Head. Enjoy views of the Lakes before returning to Killarney.

Day 4 Ring of Kerry
A leisurely tour around the Iveragh Peninsula reputed to be one of the most scenic drives in Europe. Travel via Killorglin, Cahirciveen, Waterville on Ballinskelligs Bay and the quaint village of Sneem. Later this evening you are invited to Quill’s Farmhouse for a traditional Irish dinner and entertainment.

Day 5 Blarney & Tipperary
Leaving Kerry we travel east to Blarney Castle (optional). From Cork City we head to Tipperary with its lush, green landscape. We visit Cahir for a tour of one of Ireland’s best preserved castles and the town of Cashel, dominated by the spectacular Rock of Cashel, before arriving in medieval Kilkenny.

Day 6 Waterford & Kilkenny
Follow in the footsteps of a group of Famine emigrants as you board a replica of the sailing vessel Dunbrody at the quayside in New Ross. Next, onto Waterford for some free time to explore the Medieval town. You can visit the Viking Museums or the famous Crystal factory (not included).

Day 7 Curragh of Kildare
Travel through the Curragh of Kildare, Ireland’s premier horse breeding region, and stop at the Irish National Stud for a fascinating tour. Discover the inner workings of this iconic facility, which has produced some of the world’s finest racehorses, and enjoy the serene beauty of the Japanese Gardens. As we continue to Dublin, a panoramic tour of the capital introduces you to its historic and modern landmarks.After settling into your hotel, gather with your fellow travellers for a dinner featuring delicious Irish cuisine and spirited entertainment.
