Introduction
With this 18-day Tour, you will have the chance to explore the main Areas of continental Chile.
First, you will explore the Central Zone with Santiago & Valparaiso.
Your Second stop will be the Desert in San Pedro de Atacama where you will explore all this area with some Fantastic visits like the Moon Valley, Baltinache Salt Lagoons, and more!
Directly from San Pedro, you will fly to Puerto Varas with a Layover in Santiago. Puerto Varas is the Gate to the Lake Region, Here you will Discover some amazing landscapes surrounded by Lakes and Centenary forests.
After the Lake Region, you will head to Patagonia, First, you will Visit Punta Arenas and Tierra del Fuego where you will have the chance to see the penguins in their natural habitat. After Punta Arenas, you will head to Puerto Natales the Entrance of Torres del Paine National Park.

Day 1 Arrival in Santiago
The Santiago Airport also known as Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport is located 30 minutes away from the Santiago City Center. Upon arrival in Santiago, your private driver will be waiting for you. After meeting your driver you will head to your hotel in Santiago.

Day 2 The best of Valparaíso, Viña del Mar and the Casablanca Valley
On our way to Valparaíso we will stop at Río Tinto, in this place you can have breakfast or buy wine from the different wine valleys of Chile. Once in Valparaíso, declared a World Heritage City by UNESCO, you will get to know its most important attractions such as La Sebastiana, Pablo Neruda's House Museum, Sotomayor Square, its most emblematic monuments and buildings, Paseo 21 de Mayo, Cerro Artillería and Cerro Alegre.
We will have lunch in Reñaca, the most tourist beach of the resort. Then we will visit the headquarters of the famous international song festival that takes place in the Quinta Vergara Amphitheater. Viña del Mar is known as the garden city and one of the most touristic cities in the country. Later, we will take a walk to see its beaches and take some pictures in the flower clock.
On the way back to Santiago we will make a final stop in the Casablanca Valley to visit a vinery and taste the wines of the area.

Day 3 Let's go to Atacama - Unique Stargazing
Early in the morning, your driver will pick you up from your hotel and you will head to Santiago Airport where you will take your flight to Calama Airport. From here another driver will pick you up and drive you for 90 minutes until you arrive at your Hotel in San Pedro de Atacama.
Today you will have the chance to learn and enjoy one of the brightest nights you will ever see. The guide will pick you up at your hotel at 8 PM and you will have a short ride to the middle of nowhere where the tour will start.
At night we will observe different types of stars according to their age (blue, yellow, and red), doubles, and variables solar systems. Then we’ll go for nebulae (delivery rooms of stars) and cluster stars.
At the end of the tour, we will observe nearby galaxies, clusters of billions of stars that have traveled together almost from the beginning of our universe.

Day 4 Visit the Baltinache Hidden Lagoons & Vallecito (magic bus)
Discover two marvelous places in the middle of the Atacama Desert: Hiddens Lagoons of Baltinache & Vallecito.
This tour can be done in the morning or the evening. your guide will pick you up and we will head to the desert where Vallecito is located. Then a technical stop to walk around, take pictures, and observe the salt cordillera with a wonderful 360-grades view and see the magic bus where you will hear the story of this mystical place.
The second stop is 7 Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache, after an hour-long ride, we'll arrive at our destination, where you'll have the opportunity to see the magnificent view of this place and take pictures. These lagoons have high salt content in the water, due this reason is not possible to swim.
Capture the beauty of both magical places with breathtaking photographs.

Day 5 Visit the Tatio Geysers - Lunar Landscape at Valle de la Luna
A must in the Atacama is the Tatio Geysers Tour, a unique show in the world with 80 smoking geysers at 4200m altitude. On the tour to the Tatio Geysers, we will leave at dawn from San Pedro de Atacama towards the Altiplano, climbing the hills and mountains of the Andes Mountains. After 1 hour and a half of travel, we will arrive at the Geysers, a unique natural spectacle in the world, with 80 smoking geysers at 4200 m altitude. Next to this natural setting, we will enjoy a breakfast refueling, then tour the geothermal field, surrounded by numerous steam columns. Also, it is possible to visit the rustic well that is within the same field.
On the way back to San Pedro de Atacama, we will make a stop at the Putana River, where we will observe the native flora and fauna of the place, and then make another stop in the town of Machuca, where it is possible to buy flame anticuchos, empanadas, and other typical foods from the area.
In the afternoon, you will head to "El Valle de la Luna" and surprise yourself with the enormous figures of salt and clay constructed with the passing of the years and the wind. There is no life in this valley, nor humidity, turning it the most inhospitable place on the planet.
When the sun sinks, it is painting pie tones on the edges of hills and defiles, while the wind blows among the rocks and the sky passes from pink to purple and finally black.

Day 6 Discover Red Rocks, Lagunas Altiplanicas & Atacama Salt Flats
We will pick you up at your hotel in the morning to start this trip outside the city. The tour to the Red Rocks & Altiplanic Lagoons will take us through important touristic places inside the Atacama Desert. To reach the Red Rocks Lagoon, also known as Aguas Calientes Salt Flat, we will have to go up in our vehicle to 3800 meters of altitude and walk for 1 hour and 15 minutes, to see the red-colored rocks, besides some lagoons and salt flats around.
The same way, we will make a stop in the Chaxa Lagoon, place where you will be able to see flamingos. Then, we will go to the area of Altiplanic Lagoons Miscanti and Miñiques, where our guide will give us some information about the flora and fauna of the place.
The same way, we will pass by the town of Socaire and the Tropic of Capricorn, where we will make a stop to take pictures. After that, we will return to San Pedro de Atacama to end our tour.

Day 7 Transfer to Calama Airport - Arrival to Puerto Varas
This morning, transfer from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama to Calama for your flight to Puerto Montt via Santiago. Arrive at Puerto Montt and meet your English-speaking guide, who will take you in a vehicle 30 minutes north to Puerto Varas.
Today you will have time to explore Puerto Varas on your own. This beautiful town in the South of Chile has much to offer. You can spend your day relaxing on the lake, you can go try the local food which is an exotic mixture of German Cuisine and Chilean Cuisine. You will find dishes like The Crudo which is Raw Meat cooked with lemon juice. If you want to learn more about this unique culture the recommendation is to visit Pablo Fierro or Antonio Felmer Museums where you will have to learn lots of new things about this magical place.
A must is to enjoy some coffee at the lake border where you can enjoy the peace the Llanquihue lake will give you.

Day 8 Visit the "Saltos del Petrohue", "Todos Los Santos Lake" and Osorno Volcano
This adventure will take you to see this active volcano, renowned for its perfect formation, and the famous Petrohué Waterfalls, both important landmarks in Southern Chile.
A lake originating from a glacier and an active volcano, famous for its perfectly shaped crater, are two of the attractions you can see with this package. The tour starts on the southern shores of Llanquihue Lake, where you will learn about the German settlers and agriculture in the zone. Once in the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, you will be able to enjoy the imposing Petrohué Waterfalls, which stun visitors with their turquoise waters.
From there, we will go on to the origin of the Petrohué River, Todos Los Santos Lake, where we will visit some of its sleepy beaches. By then, we will be at the foot of the Osorno Volcano to enjoy lunch in the village of Ensenada, before continuing up to the ski resort on the volcano. On route, you will be stunned by the panoramic views of the Petrohué River valley and the beautiful Llanquihue Lake.

Day 9 Cochamo Town and "Termas del Sol" - Relax at the Hot Springs
In the morning we will pick you up at your accommodations to leave the city towards Ralún, in the Reloncavi Estuary. In this place, you will be able to see the native forest surrounding the roads that pass by the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park.
Then, you will go to Cochamo, a typical town of Southern Chile in the middle of the evergreen Valdivian rainforest and the coast of Los Lagos Region.
After that, you will continue the road to Puelo, the area where passes the river of the same name was born in Lake Puelo in Argentina.
Finally, you will reach the Sol Hot Springs, located at Puelo. The 10 thermal pools are constructed with stones in a space that has 300 meters of walkways. The temperatures vary between 96.8 and 113ºF, and they emerge from a natural source at 140ºF.
After relaxing and enjoying the landscape, you will return to the city to end the tour.

Day 10 Explore Chiloe - The Island of the Legends
We begin the tour by going to Pargua south of Puerto Varas city, here we will board a ferry to sail the Chacao Channel, this channel separates the continent of Chiloe Island.
During the sailing, we might see sea wolves, pelicans, and sea birds natives from this area. The ferry berths at Chacao pier, here we see the typical houses that are built of Alerce wood, and the Churches that are National Heritage Sites, then continue along the seaside road to visit Caulín and Lacuy beaches, places very famous for the oyster production and rich marine fauna, until we finally get to Ancud city. In this city we can see the San Antonio Fort; this historic place is located in the highest part of the city, built in the latest part of the XVIII Century, and is part of one of the last Spanish fortifications in our country, the Local Churches Heritage Foundation, the Main Square, and the Central Market, this one has many gastronomic and crafts options of the island.
During the tour, we have the chance to stop in a typical restaurant.
Return to Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas and the respective hotels.

Day 11 Transportation to Punta Arenas
Today our private driver will pick you up from your accommodation and take you to the airport where you will be able to take a flight to Punta Arenas. Once you get there, another private driver will be waiting for you to take you to your accommodation.
You can enjoy this day at Punta Arenas on your own, visiting places such as Plaza Muñoz Guerrero, to learn about the city's history and the nearby neoclassical mansions. Next, it's common to visit the luxurious Palacio Sara Braun before heading to the waterfront for a seaside stroll. You'll likely end your day with a visit to Mirador Cerro de la Cruz, a viewpoint overlooking the city and the Strait of Magellan, before indulging in a dinner of local seafood specialties.

Day 12 Magdalena Island - Penguin Encounter HDTour
Sail on a comfortable catamaran to Magdalena Island, where you will visit the amazing Magellanic penguin colony and the lighthouse that bears the name of the island, in the Strait of Magellan. Start this unique adventure by checking in at the Laredo dock and then embark on a fast catamaran for an hour and 30 minutes to Magdalena Island, one of the largest Magellanic penguin colonies in South America.
Here we can also see Black-browed Albatrosses, Skuas, Terns, Cormorants, and Dominican Gulls in the surrounding skies. After walking for 1 hour we start the return to Punta Arenas, where you will have the opportunity, if you are lucky, to see Southern Dolphins, Commerson's dolphins, and Sei whales. Day 13 Transfer from Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales
After a shuttle bus ride to Puerto Natales, you will have the afternoon at leisure.
Today you will have the day to explore the town of Puerto Natales, there are many things to do here, like visiting the "Monumento al Viento" where you will have the chance to take some nice pictures. Also, you should visit the Muelle Historico, which is one of the iconic places here. You will have time to go shopping for some handicrafts and local souvenirs, which are pretty unique. Food is also one of the best things, we will enjoy some hot chocolate with some Patagonic Views.
