Itinerary

  1. Introduction

This is a 9-day island package that includes 2 nights accommodation at premium hotels to Paros, Naxos, Santorini and Milos, daily breakfast, a semi-private tour in Santorini,  an Antiparos cruise, a full-day Naxos tour, a full-day tour in Milos, ferry tickets and transfers. Spend the days at leisure and enjoy sandy beaches with azure waters, quaint villages, breathtaking views and spectacular sunsets.

  1. Day 1 Athens / Paros

Transfer to Piraeus port at 6am to board the ferry to Paros island. Arrival and transfer to your hotel.

  2. Day 2 Paros - A glimpse of white in the deep blue - 8-hour island tour

Our first stop will be Parikia town also known as Hora, the capital of the Island. Built on the remnants of the ancient city, it is the cultural and commercial center of the Island. Parikia is built amphitheatrically around the port and has a typical Cycladic architecture, with whitewashed cubic and flat roofed houses with spare architectural lines and colored wooden doors, windows and balconies.

On the entrance of the port, a superb whitewashed windmill welcomes the visitors and constitutes the trademark of Paros. The church of Panagia Ekatontapiliani is one of the best-preserved Paleo-Christian monuments in Greece. According to the legend, the original church was constructed by Saint Constantine, first Emperor of Constantinople, after the offering of his mother, Saint Helene.

From there, the bus takes us to the port of Punda, where we will take the ferry to Antiparos. Antiparos is one of those Greek islands that have managed to stay off the radar. Returning to Paros, we cross the southern coast, where we pass the villages of Alyki and Drios and then we reach Piso Livadi, where we take our break. You will have some free time for lunch (optional basis) or even to swim. Lefkes is a small little village hidden between the mountains, perfect for escaping the loud tourist areas by the sea. This beautiful village, also the former capital of Paros, is full of white houses, narrow stone streets, and Venetian architecture.

Next stop is Naousa, considered to be one of the prettiest villages in the Cyclades, that has managed to keep its authenticity, its traditional character and its charm, with its whitewashed and flowered little houses and its tiny whitewashed churches and chapels, surrounded by labyrinth-like narrow, stone paved streets.

  3. Day 3 Paros / Naxos

Free day in Paros island. Sun-drenched beaches with emerald waters offer perfect days at the beach. Chrissi Akti, Pounda, Kolympithres and Santa Maria are only a few of the famous beach destinations.

Transfer to Paros port and embark on the ferry for Naxos island. Upon arrival you are transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

  4. Day 4 Naxos - The Island of Dionysus - 8-hour island tour

Our first stop is Demeter ‘s temple, a spectacular recently restored ancient temple of 530 BC. Apart from the impressive monument, you will have the chance to visit the archeological museum located in the same area, giving you the chance to see findings from the site.

We continue towards Damalas, a cute little village in the heart of Tragea valley, where we will enjoy a demonstration at the only remaining traditional pottery workshop and the traditional restored olive press.

We drive towards Chalki, the neoclassical village where you can walk in picturesque alleys, visit the traditional citron distillery/museum and have an espresso enjoying the classy atmosphere. Following stop is Panagia Drossiani, the oldest church in Balkan peninsula estimated from 4th century AD.

Our next stop is the most famous village of Naxos, Apiranthos, the “marble village” where you can stroll on the marble cobbled streets and take loads of photos.

We drive towards the North part of Naxos island and we end up on the Northest edge of Naxos, at Apollonas village, a small typical Cycladic village, ideal for swimming or just relaxing at the various cafes by the sea.

On our way back we stop at the impressive Kouros statue, a colossal unfinished statue of the 6th century BC and then we head back to Chora, following the North-Northwest coast of the island, enjoying view of Agia tower and North Cyclades islands.

  5. Day 5 Naxos / Santorini

Free day in Naxos. Stroll in the old Venetian Castle in the capital of Naxos where mansions with Venetian blazons blend with the Cycladic architecture creating a ravishing backdrop.

Transfer to Naxos port and embark on the ferry for Santorini island. Upon arrival you are transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

  6. Day 6 Santorini - The Island of Lava - Semi-Private Tour of Santorini (6 hours)

Follow us on a journey through time, while trying to unveil the myths and legends of more than 4000 years of History.

First stop will be the Monastery of Prophet Elias, one of the oldest monasteries and the highest point of the Island.

Next stop the Archaeological site of Akrotiri, one of the main urban centers of the Aegean.

Our next stop will be a visit to a traditional canava (home-cellar) tasting 3 different types of wines of Santorini. Step on an ancient vineyard and get information for the special “terroir” of Santorini wine and the famous white grape variety.

Free time for swimming followed by a “meze” style lunch including variety of tapas the majority made from local products such as fava, cherry tomato, round zucchinis, white eggplants and more!!! After lunch transfer back to your hotel.

  7. Day 7 Santorini / Milos

Free day until you are transferred to Santorini port and embark on the ferry for Milos island. Upon arrival you are transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

  8. Day 8 Milos - The Island of the divine beauties - Full-day Cruise (10 hours)

We will be sailing around one of the most beautiful and amazing islands belonging to the Cyclades, enjoying the unique beauty of Milos, (the island where the world-famous Venus de Milos was discovered), while swimming and sailing in the deep blue waters, enjoying a magnificent breakfast and lunch.

The cruise will take you to the most impressive beaches and sites in Milos for either a swim or just to take incredible photos. Sarakino Beach, the famous rocky beach owes its unique structure to Mother Nature. The beach is directly hit by Northern winds, which causes the waves to violently smash against the rocks and chisel them over time. The caves are only visible by boat or kayak.

In addition to the fantastic beaches, the island also has a number of sea-caves. Tsigrado beach, not only one of the most famous beaches on the island but also the most remote. The coastline between Tsigrado beach and Kleftiko Bay is extremely interesting. Adorned by geological structures, volcano-formed cliffs and a myriad of colors, it's hard to peel your eyes away while the boat heads towards yet another big Milos attraction. Another popular spot in Milos, Kleftiko Bay is a spectacular network of volcanic rocks and caves.

  9. Day 9 Milos / Athens

Transfer to the port and departure to Piraeus. Arrival and transfer to your hotel in Athens around midnight.
